Blissful barging down the River Saone to Auxonne today. Free central mooring at the foot of the old town walls.

Lobelia
163 tons, 39m long, 5.06m wide, converted Belgianspitz barge.
Built in 1962 in Willebroek, Belgium. Carried 350 tons of various cargo until taken out of service in 2003.
Mercedes V10 engine 350hp, 70hp bowthruster, twin rudders.
Converted by current owners.
